Job Description:

As a Systems Engineer, you will help shape the core of the product – its functionality, capabilities, and features. You will join a tightly knit team of driven and skilled colleagues who share a common goal: to create a safe and secure society.

A key part of your daily work will be to analyze customer requirements and relevant standards to create a robust system description that forms the foundation for the entire development process. Together with your team, you will lead the development work forward in a structured, communicative, and collaborative manner.

In the role of Systems Engineer, you will work cross-functionally with other internal departments as well as externally with customers and suppliers. Together with your colleagues, you will be based at our satellite office in central Västerås.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a technical academic education and 6–10 years of professional experience. You have a good understanding of how complex technical systems are built and function, as well as experience in previous leadership roles. Experience from the defense industry, automotive sector, or other heavy industries is an asset.

We primarily look at your personality and believe you are a communicative, structured, and solution-oriented person. You are used to independently seeking answers to technical questions and find it easy to collaborate with others.

To succeed in the role of Systems Engineer, we believe you have a strong interest in technology and are always open to learning new things.

You speak Swedish and English fluently, both in speech and writing.

The assignment requires you to undergo a security interview and be approved according to current regulations. The assignment also entails requirements regarding specific citizenship.
